A vehicle drove into a crowd in East Hollywood, Los Angeles, injuring over 20 people. Four are in critical condition and eight others seriously injured, says the LA Fire Department

In a shocking incident, at least 20 people were injured after an “unknown vehicle” drove straight into a crowd outside a nightclub in East Hollywood in Los Angeles on Saturday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Emergency services descended on Santa Monica Boulevard in East Hollywood after a vehicle smashed into the crowd at around 2am local time.
The fire department said that they have treated over 20 injured patients with four to five victims in at least “critical” condition, 8 to 10 in serious condition, and 10 to 15 people in fair condition.
The LAFD said that it is coordinating patient triage and transport at this time.
Videos of the incident circulating on social media platforms showed crumpled remains of a grey car on the road amid a sea of debris outside the Vermont nightclub. Dozens of firefighters and police officers were also spotted on the accident site.
