Samsung is gearing up to launch its new products which includes the new folds and the Galaxy Watch series. The company will be hoping to close the gap on Apple Watch and its focus on health-centric features will help in a big way. The One UI 8 beta program has started by the company but the company’s new One UI update for the Galaxy Watch promises a host of new tools that should make it useful for many. 

The company has shared a list of features coming to Galaxy Watch models with the One UI 8 update and here’s a closer look at some of the important upgrades. 

One UI 8 Update: New Features For Galaxy Watch 

Better Sleep Tracking 

Samsung is upgrading the sleep tracker with the One UI 8 update with a new feature called bedtime guidance. As the name suggests, the Galaxy Watch will advice users on their sleep patterns based on their lifestyle to give them the best results. 

The other big addition is vascular load monitoring which is there to track the load on the vascular system while you are sleeping. It will help you monitor any stress level that is triggered out of the ordinary. 

Running More 

Samsung is aiming for the runners with its new coach upgrade on One UI 8 for the Watch users. The coach is built into the platform and offers tips and guidance based on the activities and tasks for your fitness level. 

Minding Your Food 

The Galaxy Watch will also help users track their lifestyle changes based on age and fitness levels and how the veggies and fruits you eat affects the changes in the body. 

Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 series and the Watch Ultra 2 are likely to come equipped with these health features while the other models should get it with the One UI 8 update. The company is also expected to unveil the new Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 models while showcasing the rumoured tri-fold device.
